The Sunlite GX1 is the only Class 1, Division 1 Rechargeable Lantern of its kind in existence. The GX1 uses an advanced electronic system that engages when the switch is activated, which eliminates the spark that is created by other rechargeable lanterns. Also, the GX1’s housing is engineered with no exposed metal, which prevents the unit from causing an accidental spark from static or friction.

The light is engineered to rotate 340° and pivot 70° vertically.
